- Travel, Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to rehabilitation patients in a hospital setting
- Perform wound care and assist with patient transfers as needed
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Adapt to floating between multiple campus locations to meet unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Rehabilitation or Medical-Surgical RN
- BLS certification required
- Ability to perform IV insertions and blood draws
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with rehabilitation patient populations
- Strong clinical skills in wound care and patient transfers
- Flexible and compassionate personality to advocate for patients
- Quick adaptability to new equipment and technology
