Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-call required (up to 4 call shifts per 4-week period) | Up to one weekend shift per 4-week period | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both scrub and circulate roles across a wide range of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care within a busy, Level I Trauma Center environment
• Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in on-call shifts and weekend coverage as required by unit needs
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units as directed
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) as required

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• BLS certification required
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
