Travel Cath Lab Tech – Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and support cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Support device procedures including pacemakers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests
• Operate GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment within the cath lab procedural area
• Document patient care and procedural data using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, typically 8–12 call days per 4-week schedule including occasional weekends
• Maintain a patient ratio environment of 3 staff to 1 patient within the cath lab procedural area

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) required
• RCIS or RCES required
• Candidates holding RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to start
• Must be able to reside within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab for on-call availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT (CI) or ARRT (CV) certification preferred
• Holding area experience
• Cardiac monitoring experience
