Contract / Travel – 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Shift: 7A–7:30P or 7P–7:30A | Every Other Weekend Required | Call Requirements Apply

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Perform and assist with procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, sepsis management, stroke care (TPA administration), and chest pain/heart alert protocols
• Conduct and support behavioral health watch as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units in accordance with facility floating policy as needed
• Adhere to all unit guidelines, attendance policies, and facility acknowledgement requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License – Temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a high-acuity environment
