Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neurology)

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a neurology focus, including post-surgical neurology patients and varied neurology diagnoses
• Accurately perform and document NIH Stroke Scale assessmentsFloat between units within the facility as needed
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 in accordance with unit standards
• Document all patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Neurology nursing experience required
• Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Comfort working in a float capacity across multiple units
