Echo Technologist – Pediatric Echocardiography

Contract | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms in a high-volume, fast-paced pediatric medical center setting
• Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately one weekend of call per assignment (every 11th weekend)
• Participate in weekday call rotation if assigned, approximately six weekday call shifts per assignment (every 11th weekday)
• Perform studies across affiliated care locations as required by call schedule
• Collaborate with a team-based, progressive clinical staff to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging for pediatric patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Echo Technologist experience required
• Pediatric echocardiography experience required
• Documented congenital heart experience required (must have notation on file)
• Must pass a fit test prior to start (facial hair permitted only for documented religious beliefs)
• Influenza vaccination required prior to start; no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Must test negative for nicotine

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric patient populations, including NICU settings
