Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed unit encompassing PCU, Med Surg/Telemetry, and Med Surg populations
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as part of routine patient assessment and care
• Administer and manage medications using the Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float within service line and scope of practice to other units as needed
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• Active ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Telemetry experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a PCU, stepdown, or mixed acuity unit setting
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication management systems
• Flexibility and experience floating across multiple unit types within a service line
