Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in critically ill patients' conditions throughout the night shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required
• Work every third weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Indiana — must be in hand prior to start date; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Indiana residents are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
