Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: June 30, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
- Perform and assist with procedures including heart catheterizations, cardioversion, and central line management
- Administer and titrate complex medication drips in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kansas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Previous travel nursing experience in a large facility ICU setting
- 2 or more years of ICU experience
