Radiology/Cardiology Tech – IR/Special Procedures (Imaging Support)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:30–16:00) | Rotating call every 4th week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide imaging support in the operating room with a focus on vascular interventional radiology (IR)
- Perform IR and special procedures within scope of practice as a radiology/cardiology technologist
- Participate in rotating call schedule approximately every 4th week
- Float within scope of practice to support departmental needs as required
- Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Active Virginia state license required (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
- Candidates without VA licensure must hold licensure in another state and be eligible for a temporary Virginia license
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates are not accepted for this position)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in vascular interventional radiology or special procedures in an OR setting
- Experience working in a high-acuity or academic medical environment
