Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required (PRN Low Census)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with standard nurse-to-patient ratios
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including participation in Rapid Response situations
• Administer medications including insulin and perform telemetry monitoring as required
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) as directed by facility

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Demonstrated skills in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Insulin administration, and Rapid Response
• Ability to work every other weekend and be available for on-call low census shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers considered
• ACLS and/or NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with MS/Tele or combined Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
