Travel – Registered Respiratory Therapist (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Minimum three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Administer aerosol treatments and manage Bipap and ventilator therapy across inpatient units
• Rotate through all inpatient floors including two 10-bed ICUs, providing respiratory care at the top of licensure
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounding with nursing and other clinical departments to enhance patient care
• Utilize and operate advanced respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
• Apply AIDET communication framework to meet patient experience standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Experience in ICU, ER, and critical adult care settings; Level 2 NICU and pediatric experience within scope
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems (Meditech experience a plus)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced ventilator management and Bipap in a high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, or Phillips V60+ equipment
• Prior travel assignment experience in a respiratory therapy role
