Travel RN – Mother Baby / Postpartum (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: 07/06/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for labor, antepartum, and postpartum patients on a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Deliver newborn care in the nursery setting, maintaining patient ratios of 5–6:1 for postpartum and nursery assignments
• Monitor fetal well-being using GE fetal monitoring equipment and document accurately in the EMR
• Participate in every third weekend rotation and fulfill 12 hours of on-call requirements per 4-week schedule
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary night shift team including nursery nurses and OB technicians

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Proficiency with electronic medical records; experience with Meditech and/or CPN preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of labor experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes
• Familiarity with GE fetal monitoring equipment
• Experience managing antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care within the same unit
