Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days, 5x8 Hours (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room as the primary home base unit
• Float as needed to day surgery, endoscopy, PACU, and holding areas based on facility need
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative patient care
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and clinical standards throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record charting
• Comfort and familiarity floating to PACU, endoscopy, or day surgery environments
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
