Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient nursing care for pre-transplant, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant patients (liver, kidney, and pancreas)
- Perform desk-based coordination and documentation using EMR systems including Meditech, TransChart, and PatientKeeper
- Conduct clinic days including rooming and assessing patients as needed
- Participate in WebEx meetings as required
- Maintain a caring and compassionate demeanor while addressing complex patient psychosocial needs
- Demonstrate flexibility across varied patient assignments within the transplant services setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work proficiently within EMR platforms (Meditech experience a plus)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Two or more years of transplant nursing experience
- Experience working with the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS)
- Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) experience
