Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients in a rural community hospital setting
- Deliver nursery and couplet care services to mothers and newborns
- Support a unit averaging 45–50 deliveries per month
- Perform intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring
- Assume charge nurse duties as assigned
- Float to assist other departments as needed, in a non-primary nursing capacity
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Hawaii Registered Nurse license (required prior to start)
- Demonstrated Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Couplet care experience
- Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring competency
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a rural or community hospital environment
- Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
