Full-Time | Permanent | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit managing common diagnoses including NSTEMI, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, and AKI
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5, with the possibility of up to 1:6 as needed
• Monitor and sign off on telemetry strips throughout the shift in collaboration with monitoring technicians
• Collaborate with PCTs, charge nurses, and house supervisors to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements, typically every other weekend and holiday
• Float to other units such as ICU, ER, or behavioral health if applicable experience is held; otherwise floating remains within Med Surg

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
• Prior experience in ICU, ER, or behavioral health settings for potential float opportunities
• Familiarity with high-flow oxygen therapy and respiratory support equipment
