Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics setting
• Perform and interpret neuro diagnostic procedures as applicable within scope of practice
• Deliver patient care during night shift hours in accordance with facility protocols and standards
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 4 years strongly preferred
• Active state license required; Virginia license pending accepted if temporary license can be obtained prior to start date (must hold licensure in at least one other state to be eligible for temporary licensure)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• 4 or more years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
