Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts, 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to weekend rotation requirements, including every other weekend availability
- Observe holiday requirements as assigned
- Float to like units as needed, serving as first to float
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of most recent experience in an acute care hospital setting, with telemetry experience
- At least 1 completed travel contract
- Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer
- Availability to attend Monday orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to like units in an acute care environment
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems and cardiac care protocols
