Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy or as warranted by patient condition, making sound independent clinical decisions.
- Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to review and revise plans as needed.
- Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions and communicate findings appropriately.
- Facilitate and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, services, and discharge needs.
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor or preceptor and promote teamwork within the unit.
- Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.
