Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13–14 Weeks | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 4 Weekend Shifts per Month | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 2:1 patient ratio in a 12-bed unit
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity as required — charge experience is mandatory
• Circulate C-sections as needed
• Collaborate with unit technicians and unit secretaries to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Must have charge nurse experience and willingness to work charge
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (FM) certifications
• AWHONN certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) in a relevant specialty
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
