Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Mother Baby / Postpartum unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess postpartum patients and newborns, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Perform IV starts and manage IV therapy as part of routine patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic health record systems
- May be required to float to units of similar patient acuity as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience
- Active RN license – valid compact or state license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- IV certification and demonstrated IV start skills
- Labor and delivery (L&D) experience
- EPIC electronic health record experience
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
