Physical Therapy Assistant

Gilroy, CA
Schedule / Job Type
Part-time, 13-week assignment, guaranteed 30 hours per week, starting ASAP, rotating shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist
- Support patient mobility and recovery through prescribed exercises
- Document patient care activities in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Current state license or registration as required
- Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to schedule changes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a therapy setting preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in outpatient or inpatient clinical settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
