Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday – Friday | 8-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | On-Call Rotation Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting throughout the perioperative process
- Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining a sterile field during procedures
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure safe surgical outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Iowa or a compact state
- Current BLS certification
- Previous experience in an operating room or perioperative nursing setting
- Ability to fulfill on-call rotation requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification or working toward certification
- Experience with a variety of surgical specialties
