Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | Monday–Friday with every other weekend and every other holiday rotation | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Intermediate Care / Med-Surg Respiratory unit
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively to the care team
• Care for patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy management
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Connecticut
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience caring for patients with ventilators and tracheostomies highly preferred
