Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends (4 shifts per schedule) | No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 32+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, medics, and PCTs across shift coverage
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Anticipate patient and department needs while maintaining a team-oriented approach
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Texas
- TNCC required – must have by start date
- ENPC required – must have by start date
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Greater than 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to anticipate patient and departmental needs
