Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | 13–26 week contract options

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and neurological observation
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends as assigned
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competencies
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Neurological nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible (exceptions apply for night shift on select specialties at 50+ miles from the contracted campus)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Long Term Acute Care (LTACH) setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with pre-assignment compliance modules and travel nursing onboarding processes
