Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a 10-bed Operating Room at a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgical cases including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and bariatric procedures
- Support robotic and trauma orthopedic procedures including total knee and hip replacements
- Participate in laparoscopic and robotic gynecological procedures such as hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and emergent interventions
- Utilize multi-specialty equipment and document care using Meditech EMR (transitioning to Expanse)
- Fulfill on-call requirements, including weekly on-call and one weekend per month
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology
- Ability to work day shift hours and fulfill on-call obligations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ENT and non-cardiac vascular surgical procedures
- Pediatric surgical experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
