Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Neuroscience ICU at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for neurology patients post-thrombectomy and post-TPA administration, as well as post-neurosurgery patients
• Perform and assist with unit-level procedures including CRRT, bedside EVD management, and A-line monitoring
• Document all patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps in accordance with unit protocols
• Float as needed to other ICUs or step-down units per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to self-schedule and meet unit needs, including 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a neurology or neuroscience ICU setting
• Experience caring for post-thrombectomy, post-TPA, and post-neurosurgery patient populations
• Familiarity with CRRT and bedside EVD management
• Experience with Cerner documentation system
