Registered Nurse – Med/Surg & Emergency Room

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Room setting on night shift
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Care for post-operative Spine/Ortho patients with an emphasis on Med/Surg nursing
• Respond to emergency department patient needs, applying emergency nursing protocols
• Work all assigned holidays as required by facility scheduling policy

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license required
• Active and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Spine/Ortho post-operative patient care experience required
• COVID vaccination required per state mandate
• Ability and willingness to work holidays — no holiday time-off requests will be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong Med/Surg nursing background with demonstrated clinical competency
• Prior experience in a combined or rural Med/Surg and Emergency Room environment
