Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across OR Core 3 & 4 specialties, including General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Orthopedics, GU, and Colorectal Robotics
• Circulating is required; scrubbing is preferred — candidates must be well-rounded and current in most OR service lines
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospital locations as required
• Utilize Cerner for electronic health record documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation, expected at approximately 40–60 hours per 6-week cycle (subject to variation)
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays per contract requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana, a compact state, or a temporary Indiana license valid at time of start
• Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Trauma Level I experience is required; candidates with at least 1 year of Level I Trauma experience may be considered with a minimum of 2 years total OR experience
• BLS certification required
• Nursing degree from a program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
• Local Indiana residents are accepted for this Surgical Services position; note that in-state travelers are offered an adjusted in-state rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in addition to circulating skills
• Broad OR specialty experience across multiple service lines (CV and Transplant experience not required)
• Experience working in a high-volume OR environment (average daily census of 70–80 cases across 21 rooms)
