- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving procedures as needed
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Proven experience in emergency or acute care nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior ER or trauma unit experience
