Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Surgical ICU setting with expected patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 for high-acuity patients including post-CABG cases
• Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and ECMO
• Care for a diverse patient population including trauma, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
• Perform and assist with procedures such as chest tube management, central line care, and medication drip administration
• Document accurately and efficiently using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians on the night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Kansas
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience, particularly at large trauma facilities
• Familiarity with high-acuity surgical ICU environments and complex post-operative patient populations
• Experience with advanced equipment such as ECMO, CRRT, and balloon pumps
