Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients in a Labor & Delivery setting
- Administer and monitor medication infusions including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
- Perform IV placement and phlebotomy as required by unit protocols
- Transport patients in coordination with unit technicians
- Utilize remote telemetry monitoring as part of patient care and surveillance
- Function as a collaborative team member within a patient-centered, supportive unit culture
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- Prior experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Experience with high-risk OB patients and medication infusion management
- Competency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and dependability as a travel team player
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large regional or academic medical center environment
- Familiarity with Level III NICU-adjacent workflows or high-acuity obstetric care
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new unit protocols and team dynamics
