Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shift start times vary: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM | Weekend availability required | Holiday commitment required (must be available for 3 of 5 designated holidays)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room within scope of practice and facility protocols
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float to like units as needed to support facility staffing requirements
• Participate in on-call coverage limited to call-off situations only
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation
• Adhere to all facility compliance, scheduling, and conduct policies throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted if active and in hand)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Must be available to work weekends and commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
• Familiarity with Epic charting in a high-acuity surgical environment
