Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services within the Urgent Care Department, collaborating with providers, clinic staff, and management to ensure quality care and efficient use of resources
- Offer leadership and direction to clinic staff, supporting efficient operation of all aspects of the clinic including front desk and patient care
- Clearly and accurately document all care and services provided in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain medication inventory, supplies, and ensure required quality control checks are completed for Point of Care tests
- Assist providers and staff as needed, anticipating needs to support efficient and quality patient care
- Communicate effectively across departments and maintain a clean, safe working environment including upkeep of equipment and reporting of safety hazards
Required Qualifications
- Active, full, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska — required at time of submittal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience, with experience must be within the last 2 years
- Proof of Flu Vaccine required
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills with experience collaborating across departments
- Experience with Point of Care testing, specimen collection, and use of medical and computer equipment
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to maintain effective working relationships with staff and departments
