Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 9-bed PICU at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1–2, with step-down ratios of 1:2–3
• Perform procedures including IV starts, catheterizations, central line dressing changes, and assist with lumbar punctures
• Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring, trach care, and tube feeding and placement
• Document patient care using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed per unit floating policy
• Adhere to a 6-week scheduling cycle requiring a minimum of 3 weekend shifts; self-scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Proficiency with Alaris infusion pumps and Cerner documentation system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of PICU experience
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and ICP monitoring
• Familiarity with pediatric step-down care environments
