Cath Lab Technologist – Radiology / Cardiology

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM – 8:30 PM) | Onsite | Guaranteed 36 Hours per Week | Includes call requirements: 2 weekday nights per week (7:00 PM – 6:30 AM) and rotating weekend call every 4–5 weeks (Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 6:30 AM); call teams rotate every 12 hours between primary and secondary call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with a high volume of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, CTO, TAVR, Watchman, IVUS, Impella, IABP, ECMO, TPM, Shockwave, and Penumbra in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment
• Support structural cardiology cases including adult cardiology and complex structural procedures
• Operate and maintain specialized radiology and cardiac equipment including Siemens Artiz Z & Q imaging systems, Philips Volcano IVUS, BSC IVUS, Impella, IABP, and Shockwave devices
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting using Cerner EHR
• Adhere to a 1:1 staffing ratio with an average daily census of 35–45 patients
• Participate in call rotation including weekday nights and weekend call as scheduled; must be willing to remain until all cases are completed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience; must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab diagnostic and interventional procedures including structural cases — no first-time travelers accepted
• Active WV state license required prior to assignment start (pending license accepted for submission)
• ARRT(BD) and ARRT(R) registrations required — RCIS or RCES credentials are not accepted for this role per state requirements
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel experience in a high-volume Cath Lab setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR and Siemens imaging systems
• Experience with advanced structural procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and mitral/tricuspid valve interventions
