Contract | Days | 8-hour shifts beginning between 0545 and 0900 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a 4-suite OR environment, with 3 suites running concurrently and an average of 9 cases per day
• Cover Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU in addition to intraoperative responsibilities
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.)
• Participate in a rotating call schedule — approximately 5 days per month; weekday call runs 1430–0630 and weekend call runs from 1430 Friday through 0630 Monday; holiday call rotation participation expected
• Respond to STAT cases and be ready for incision within 30 minutes or less when on call
• Document and chart using the Paragon EMR system; clock in and out at the facility for all shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Michigan (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience in General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology OR cases
• Experience in Pre-Surgery/PATT and PACU settings required
• Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard contract rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Paragon EMR
• Experience in a multi-specialty OR environment with high daily case volume
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and rapid STAT response requirements
