Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Neurology (Outpatient)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage nurse in-boxes and work queues within the electronic health record system (Epic), including transcribing and documenting voicemail messages and processing inbound clinical faxes requiring provider review or signature
• Triage and respond to patient phone calls and patient portal messages in a timely and professional manner
• Process medication refill requests and route for provider signature as needed
• Manage and coordinate lab orders, imaging orders, and results, including abstraction and entry of genetic testing data
• Support high-acuity neurology patients, including coordination of infusion-related services
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation to support patient safety and continuity of care across assigned providers

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to float between sister facilities as needed within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an outpatient, ambulatory care, or neurology clinical setting
• Familiarity with neurological conditions such as TBI, stroke, CVA, or substance use disorders
• Experience with infusion coordination or specialty pharmacy workflows
