Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for telemetry patients in an intermediate care/step-down unit setting
• Perform IV insertions and manage IV therapy throughout patient care
• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collect and monitor laboratory specimens and interpret results as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Provide thorough patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document all patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience monitoring telemetry patients required
• Must be able to pass a telemetry competency test
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or step-down unit environment
• Strong general nursing skills including patient monitoring, lab management, and medication administration
