Contract | Night Shift | 8-hour or 12-hour shifts available | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform head-to-toe assessments for a long-term care population including residents with CHF, COPD, diabetes, dementia, and rehabilitation needs
• Provide nursing care within a facility that includes a locked dementia unit
• Manage IV therapy for fluids and antibiotics as needed
• Assume possible charge nurse duties depending on shift assignment
• Float throughout the facility as needed
• Document and chart using PointClickCare (EMR)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Michigan (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care (LTC) experience
• Comfort working with dementia patients in a locked unit setting
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PointClickCare EMR
• Prior experience with IV therapy administration (fluids and antibiotics)
• Familiarity with BIPAP/CPAP management (no ventilated patients)
• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience in a SNF setting
