Travel RN – Rehabilitation

Rochester, NH | Inpatient Rehabilitation
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 19-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Administer IV therapy and manage infusion equipment including Baxter and Kangaroo pumps
- Utilize mechanical lifts and Sara Steady equipment to support safe patient mobility
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float to CCU, Med Surg, or ER as needed based on unit demands
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and sitters to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in New Hampshire (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in rehabilitation and/or med-surg nursing
- Demonstrated IV experience
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Wound care experience
- Experience caring for stroke patients
- Experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients
- Flexible, kind, and thorough approach to patient care and teamwork
