Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Weekdays and some weekends | Rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / PCU / Step-Down setting with an expected patient ratio of 1:3
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry surveillance
• Perform IV starts and other required clinical skills as part of routine patient care
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring required
• EPIC experience required
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across units of varying acuity levels
• Familiarity with intermediate care or step-down unit workflows and patient populations
