Contract | Temp-to-Hire Potential | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to mental health counselors and peer specialists, including monitoring milieu acuity and assigning client tasks as appropriate; ensure development of treatment plans and crisis response plans
• Review clinical documentation to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and program regulations, private payor requirements, and accreditation standards; oversee the Quality Assurance program
• Provide regularly scheduled supervision to program staff, reviewing group dynamics and developing strategies to maximize client continuation and compliance; develop in-service training for staff
• Develop and monitor group curriculum using evidence-based techniques to meet the needs of clients served in the program
• Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling of staff as assigned; attend internal team meetings and external stakeholder meetings
• Share in on-call responsibilities for the program as applicable; assume responsibility for daily program operations in the absence of the Program Director

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, rehabilitative counseling, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated ability to relate to a psychiatric/behavioral health population in a sensitive and culturally competent manner
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations, respond promptly to client needs, and maintain confidentiality
• Strong problem-solving, written communication, and group presentation skills
• Experience carrying out supervisory responsibilities including staff management, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution
• Local candidates are highly preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• LMHC or LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts preferred
• Experience working in a multicultural setting with a strong customer service orientation
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for behavioral health and addiction treatment
• Prior experience with clinical program design review and quality improvement initiatives
