Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a long-term care population consisting exclusively of geriatric patients
• Manage and monitor patients with complex needs including trach, wound vac, TPN, central lines, IVs, G-tube, and PROM machines
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:27 on a long-term care unit
• Float to other campus locations as needed based on departmental volume
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN / LPN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous nursing home or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
• Experience caring for geriatric patients in a long-term care setting
• Familiarity with complex care modalities such as trach management, wound vac, and TPN
