Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital within scope of practice
• Float to all hospital departments as needed to meet facility needs, including Labor and Delivery
• Deliver critical care respiratory support in high-acuity patient care settings
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Contribute to emergency response efforts; during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• RRT credential (NBRC) required — CRT candidates will not be considered
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be active and in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must all be in hand at time of start
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers considered for night shift only
• Recent critical care experience required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Comfort and flexibility floating across multiple hospital departments and acuity levels
• Experience in Labor and Delivery respiratory support
