Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum settings
- Deliver couplet care for mothers and newborns on the obstetric floor
- Apply basic med-surg skills to care for postoperative patients, including hysterectomy patients
- Perform fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to findings
- Float within the hospital as needed based on unit demands
- Work at least one holiday during the contract period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN State or Compact License required
- Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required due to current unit skill mix
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- Must be willing to work at least one holiday during the assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- STABLE certification preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records strongly preferred
- Background in postpartum and couplet care in a high-acuity setting
