Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging 220+ patients per day
• Deliver emergency nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment, managing a wide range of critical and complex presentations
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and Joint Commission standards
• Participate in required orientation modules and annual competency training via the Relias/Net Learning portal
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends as part of standard scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required (pending certifications may be considered as substitutes)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (pending accepted)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
• 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level 1/Level 2 Trauma Center setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in acute and trauma care scenarios
