Travel | 13-Week Contract | Days | Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | 50% on-call requirement with every other weekend on call

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered, while continually monitoring patient condition and responding to changes in status
• Prepare equipment and supplies, implement safety standards, and perform appropriate quality control procedures; troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions as necessary
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures across both CT and X-ray departments, as floating between departments is required
• Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and take appropriate corrective action including repositioning patients and repeating procedures as needed
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in both Radiography (RD) and CT — must be submitted with application
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association — must be submitted with application
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in both Radiology and CT
• Ability and willingness to float between X-ray and CT departments
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations, including every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Completion of a CT Technology certificate program in addition to the associate degree
• Prior travel assignment experience in a radiology or CT setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
